Our architectural approach is shaped by an understanding of the wider environment. We begin by considering the character of the site, its landscape, movement patterns and public spaces, allowing the architecture to emerge from this understanding. This broader perspectiave helps determine the role each building should play within its setting—whether blending with its surroundings, creating a meaningful landmark, or combining both approaches.
Torogh Park
Early design studies, integrating architecture and landscape into a single composition. A 50,000 m² mixed-use development within Torogh Woodland Park, bringing together office buildings, a shopping centre and a central lake into a unified architectural composition integrated with the surrounding landscape.

Chalidareh
Chalidareh is a 172-hectare tourism and leisure development designed around the site’s natural topography and central lake. Visitor facilities, tourist accommodation and public spaces are integrated within a landscape-led masterplan, with views towards the lake and surrounding landscape.
Chalidareh, Hillside tourist accommodation
The accommodation follows the natural hillside, allowing every cottage to enjoy views across the lake and the adjacent hilly landscape while creating a coherent architectural identity integrated with the landscape.
Arghavan Village
A family of fifteen villa types provides a coherent architectural identity throughout the development, designed by Avijeh Mehr, while responding to different site conditions and the needs of its residents.
Ofogh Arghavan
Designed jointly by Avijeh Mehr and Bavand as their winning proposal in a national competition, the project integrates the architecture with the existing woodland. Across the 1.1 million m² mixed-use development, buildings and open spaces respond to the landscape, with the hotel forming the principal architectural focal point.
Abu Musa
Designed for a new neighbourhood of approximately 1,200 residents, the project draws inspiration from the architectural language of Abu Musa, where Persian and Arab influences have evolved over many years. Rather than replicating traditional buildings, these elements have been reinterpreted in a contemporary and economical way, creating a coherent neighbourhood that respects the character of the island while meeting present-day needs.
The office buildings
The office buildings were designed as part of the landscape, framing views across the lake while creating generous public spaces between the buildings.
The shopping centre
The shopping centre forms the second part of the composition, its accessible roof extending the landscape and connecting visitors with panoramic views across the park.

Private Social Club Food Village
The Food Village and Private Social Club occupy a prominent lakeside setting. Designed as complementary buildings, they combine leisure, dining and social facilities while responding to the surrounding landscape.

The accommodation follows the natural hillside, allowing every cottage to enjoy views across the lake and the adjacent hilly landscape while creating a coherent architectural identity integrated with the landscape.

Public buildings designed to create a coherent architectural identity for a 1.1 million m² mixed-use development, combining contemporary architecture with well-defined public spaces.
Virani Hotel
Located in a rural setting outside Mashhad, the project replaces the client's original six-storey proposal with a two-storey hotel that responds more appropriately to its surroundings. the hotel offers 304 twin rooms and 24 exclusive VIP suites. Its layout draws inspiration from the spatial principles of the Persian garden, creating a coherent relationship between architecture, landscape and water.

Torogh Sport Centre
The 36,000 m² Torogh Sport Centre is one of the major projects proposed for Torogh Park, providing year-round facilities for a wide range of sports. A shopping centre next to the main sports building is incorporated into the development to help finance the project.
Abu Musa
Designed for approximately 1,200 residents, the project comprises low-budget two-storey houses inspired by the architectural language of Abu Musa, where Persian and Arab influences have evolved over many years. Traditional elements are reinterpreted in a contemporary and economical way, creating a coherent neighbourhood that responds to the character of the island.
