Madjid Shirazpour

Madjid Shirazpour is the principal architect and managing director of Avijeh Mehr and a registered architect in Iran. He received his postgraduate degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran, in 1976, followed by a postgraduate degree in Urban Design from the University of Manchester in 1978. His professional experience spans projects in the UK from 1978 to 1998 and in Iran from 1991, when he founded Avijeh Mehr. Based in London, he manages the firm mainly remotely and travels to Iran as required.

His work covers architecture, urban design and urban planning, with experience in residential, mixed-use, tourism and large-scale development projects, as well as the design and management of a major theme park project.

 

Mohammad Imanian

Mohammad Imanian is a partner, senior mechanical engineer and chief executive officer of Avijeh Mehr. He holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Islamic Azad University of Mashhad and an M.Sc. in Philosophy of Science from Sharif University of Technology. He joined Avijeh Mehr in 2007 and has served as CEO since 2016. His work includes mechanical engineering for architectural and urban development projects, alongside the management and coordination of the firm’s multidisciplinary projects.

Shiva Taghavi

Shiva Taghavi is a partner and senior designer at Avijeh Mehr and is responsible for research within the practice. She holds a bachelor's degree in Urbanism from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and a master's degree in Urban Design from Iran University of Art, Tehran. Her work covers urban design and urban planning, contributing to the research, analysis and design development of the firm's projects.
