Iran’s historical monuments and towns rank amongst the top 10 in the world, yet tourism makes up a very small percentage of national income. However, this trend is changing. The leisure industry and its social and economic significance are now attracting much needed investment by both the public and private sectors. Avijeh Mehr is one of the few practices currently involved in designing some of the biggest tourist attraction centres in Iran. |
